1. Is the water deep enough so I won’t damage my boat? The water level of the Susquehanna River will vary depending on the amount of rain. If you have an under-stern rudder or expensive racing canoe, you should check the Jersey Shore water level at http://waterdata.usgs.gov/nwis/uv?01549760. In general, a gage level of 2 feet or higher will provide enough depth for most canoes and kayaks.
2. Is there camping near the start/finish line? Yes. Check the camping areas located on the lodging page.
3. Can I place advertising on my canoe? Yes. The display of race sponsors is permissible. Businesses may find information about advertising on the Sponsors page.
